1. Nobly: The Nobly is an introductory system that has some user friendly options and is based in the ipad. Although most suited for smaller start up businesses, there is software you can add to it to upgrade it and make it more usable for larger businesses as well.
It can handle some restaurant capabilities, like table seating plans and kitchen orders, as well as some inventory management in smaller retail stores. For the price point, it has good reporting with detail available. You can also set up customer loyalty programs or just use it as a stand alone register to take payments. This makes it a decent option for Credit Card Processor.
One of the drawbacks is that it lacks an e-commerce option. So if you have an online store, it will have to be set up separately. It is really designed best for small cafe's, restaurants, and bars. It is in the middle as far as set up goes. It is also more expensive in terms of using as a processor. You must use their pricing plan, which is more expensive than one from Credit Card Processor San Antonio.
2. Clover: The clover is probably the most versatile and cost effective register for any retail store, cafe, or service industry business. There are a few different options: You can use the Register and have a full menu to plug in that can print out to any number of kitchen printers. You can utilize the Clover Flex, which is a handheld unit that allows almost full functionality of the Register. You can set up your items on a pc and use the flex to enter in items, take payments from anywhere with a wifi connection, print reciepts etc.
The clover is about half the cost of most restaurant POS systems and has a growing list of add-on programs that allow you to track customer purchases, develop loyalty programs, gift cards, schedules for your staff along with a smart time clock option where employees are all connected and can request shifts to be covered etc. It is truly our favorite system to use in many cases. It also offers great support at no extra charge per call. Credit Card Processor San Antonio is the best to call for this option, with much lower costs than the competition.
3. Vend: This is also one of the most popular options out today. It has great versatility for small and medium sized businesses, operates on the cloud, and has an e-commerce option to integrate with Shopify. The interface is pretty straight forward as well.
The downside to the Vend is support costs extra. They also have some good add-ons that can be costly as well. Those same types of add-ons cost much less with systems like the Clover. It's because of the higher cost that we mostly go with the Clover when servicing a customer.
There are more POS systems on the market, like Revel, which uses the i-pad but limits functionality, and Shopkeep, which is android based but has very low service options, but no matter what your need, we are flexible to meet your needs and serve you where YOU are at. We can integrate with almost any system. (even when sometimes they haven't previously worked with other merchant service companies) Let BPS serve you. Call Brent at (210) 988-0921
